A laser cutting machine utilises a high-energy, focused laser beam to cut into materials such as steel, wood and some plastics, creating its corresponding 2 Dimensional parts.
The details regarding the movement directions are programmed by a set of computer-generated instructions known as the G-code.
The generated laser beam is then directed and bent to the focusing area. The laser focusing head and the focusing lens reduce the width of the beam and increase its power. The round beam is then directed out through the nozzle.
The laser beam is directed vertically down onto the workpiece; typically, a sheet or a plate moves along the X and Y axis of the machine bed. The point of contact of the material is exposed to the beam until that part is melted. The mechanical system then moves the laser head in the intended patterns as directed by the G-code.

LME TUBE combines the advantages of an LME system for the cutting of flat sheet metal with the new laser technology applied to cutting tubular elements for the new FIBER TUBE, which makes it an actual machine for the processing of tubular elements.
The transition from flat to tubular machining takes place automaticall,y and the cutting process uses the same EVO 3 cutting head, designed and developed internally by Cutlite Penta, and provides for the possibility of Bevel cutting on the tube.
