3arm was designed by Technospiro Machine Tool Company and are manufactured in a state-of -art-facility about 40 miles west of Barcelona, Spain. 3arm ergonomic lift assistance devices are designed to reduce injuries and increase productivity. The Tool balancers from 3arm will hold any tool up to 60 kg / 132 lbs.,

keeping the tools in a weightless condition, while

eliminating damage caused by dropping the tool. We offer a wide range of ergonomic arms to keep weightless any tool and device up to 60 kg / 132 lbs; and a versatile Manipulator able to pick and place parts up to 50 kg / 110 lbs. Including different working areas, 45 interface heads are available, smart positioning options, and portable support accessories result in a complete ‘ergonomic workstation’. More than a million custom combinations are at your disposal. The weightlessness and engineering to eliminate torque reaction, permits the operator to work within total safety, preventing fatigue or injury, and increasing productivity.

Tool Holding Series

The Tool holding series are innovative tools designed to improve productivity, reduce injuries, and enhance precision in various industrial applications. The 3arm Tool-Holding Series Arms are designed to hold tools and instruments up to 132 lbs in a weightless state for the operator. These arms are specifically designed to hold tools and instruments in a weightless state for the operator. The arms allow for increased precision due to their full range of motion, which includes lockable joints. Additionally, they can safely absorb substantial torque and reaction forces during operation. The arms are designed to handle specific weight limits. Operators receive visual cues or alerts if they exceed these limits, ensuring safe tool handling. Tool holders and grips feature anti-slip materials, preventing accidental drops and improving overall safety. 3arm minimizes strain on the operator by providing a comfortable grip and reducing fatigue during prolonged use.

Pick and Place Manipulator Arm

This powerful lift assistance arm is designed for picking up and moving parts. Manipulator can handle objects weighing up to 110 lbs. The arm’s gripping configurations allow for precise orientation and placement of heavy objects, making it efficient and safe. By rendering the part weightless and relieving torque during movement, the manipulator reduces operator fatigue and minimizes the risk of injury. It has Custom grippers, the Options include gripper jaws, vacuum attachments, or magnets, ensuring parts are not damaged during handling. Whether you’re moving parts on conveyors, assembly lines, or machine tools, this arm can make the process smoother. 

3arm is Electrically powered, reducing air consumption and is better for heavy items. The 3arm manipulator excels in precision, safety, and ergonomic design for pick-and-place tasks, while other systems offer broader functionality.

The Encoder

For precision programming of jobs that define the tightening position and sequence of fasteners, the Encoder with Smart Control is available. This feature is compatible with Series 2 and 3 Tool-Holding Arms. The Encoder’s head member can be customized to fit your vertical fastening tool. Encoders measure radial motion to ensure proper position and tightening sequence. The Encoder features a touchscreen interface and software for easy programming. It maintains the same weight and torque ratings as Series 2 and 3 manipulators.  It supports configuration in three languages (Spanish, English, and French) and offers password protection for the system. The Encoder features a touchscreen interface and software for easy programming. 

Operators can work with up to 7 different fastening programs within the same job. The system communicates with the tool controller, providing correct/incorrect fastening signals. This prevents mistakes and ensures quality. By programming the exact position and sequence of fasteners, the Encoder ensures consistent and accurate tightening. This minimizes rework and reduces production time.
